Michael Bell is a Founder and Partner of Monitor Clipper Partners, having previously been one of the co-founders of the Monitor Group. He has served as a Senior Executive Vice President at John Hancock Financial Services, and also held senior positions with Bain and Company and KPMG. Mr. Bell is a Certified Public Accountant. He received a bachelor’s degree with honors in finance and accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Mr. Bell serves on the Partners Healthcare Finance Committee and is a trustee of Brigham and Women’s/Faulkner Hospitals, having served previously as Chair. He is also a former trustee of the Partners Healthcare System in Boston and has been involved in other non-profit health care organizations in the Greater Boston area, including Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Harvard Medical School’s Risk Management Foundation. Mr. Bell has served as a director of several of MCP’s portfolio companies and is a trustee of the Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts.
