Travel Centers of America

In November 2000, MCP, management, and a group of other investors led by Oak Hill Capital acquired Travel Centers of America. TCA is the largest owner, operator, and franchiser of full-service travel centers/truck stops in the United States with 160 sites in 40 states. A typical TCA facility includes diesel fuel and gasoline operations, parking for trucks and cars, a full-service restaurant, a fast food court, a convenience store, a truck maintenance and repair center, showers, and restrooms.

In February 2001, MCP's co-investors acquired our interest in TCA.
