In March 2005, MCP invested in MSC Care Management, the largest independent procurement provider of ancillary (i.e., out of hospital, clinic, doctor’s office) healthcare products and services to U.S. workers’ compensation claimants. On behalf of insurance companies, third-party administrators, self-insured corporations, and government entities, MSC arranges for the provision of medical products and services to injured workers. MSC was founded in 1985.
