William Young

Partner, Boston

Bill Young is a Founder and Managing Partner of Monitor Clipper Partners. Previously, he was a Founding Partner of Westbourne Management Group in Toronto, Canada, providing management services to companies requiring or undertaking significant restructurings. Prior to this, he was a Partner at Bain and Company in London, England.

Bill is a Certified Professional Engineer and was previously a Design Engineer with Imperial Oil, Exxon's Canadian affiliate.

He received a B.Sc. with Honors from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and an M.B.A. with Distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. Bill has served as a director of several of MCP's portfolio companies, is the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Queen's University, and is a trustee of the Belmont Day School in Belmont, Massachusetts.
