Thomas J. Perkins has recently taken the role of Operating Principal with MCP, focusing on optimizing the performance of MCP's portfolio companies. Prior to joining MCP, Mr. Perkins was a Partner at Monitor and a leader of Monitor's manufacturing and private equity practice groups: he has directed Monitor consulting due diligence projects for MCP since 1998.

Mr. Perkins holds undergraduate degrees from Williams College, summa cum laude , and Cambridge University, first class honours, and graduate manufacturing engineering and MBA degrees from Stanford University, where he was named an Arjay Miller Scholar.
