Michael A. Bell is a Founder and Managing Partner of MCP and an original founder of Monitor. Prior to joining MCP, Mr. Bell provided consulting services to eight prominent buyout funds in the areas of due diligence, post-acquisition value addition, and integration of acquired companies. Prior to joining the founding group of Monitor in 1983, Mr. Bell was a senior consultant at Bain and Company. He is a Certified Public Accountant and previously was employed at KPMG.

Mr. Bell received a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. Mr. Bell is currently a Trustee of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Partners Healthcare System in Boston and has served as a Director of Earth Color, SmartMail and Veridian.
