Access Communications is a leading independent provider of marketing and advertising services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other health care clients. The Company’s service offerings include a broad range of medical education and promotional programs as well as a highly innovative set of initiatives targeting health care payers, including managed care organizations, employer groups and labor unions. MCP purchased a controlling interest in Access in April 2007 and will seek to leverage Monitor Group’s considerable health care expertise and pharmaceutical relationships to support the Company’s continued growth.
